Conference abstract

The rapid advancement of space and satellite technologies is reshaping scientific research, national capabilities, and commercial opportunities worldwide. In Serbia there are several entities that are involved in different aspects of space research and technology, starting from satellite monitoring for practical purposes to deep space investigations. Recognizing the growing importance of this field, the conference aims to bring together experts from scientific institutions, universities, and stakeholders engaged in space science, first from Serbia, but also worldwide experts. The event will serve as a platform for strengthening collaboration among Serbian entities involved in space research, but also collaboration between Serbian institutions and international partners.

Through presentations of ongoing and upcoming projects—including technology demonstrators, satellite-based applications, and mission concepts exploring the scientific and commercial potential of space—the conference will highlight Serbia's readiness to contribute meaningfully to global space initiatives. By facilitating dialogue, knowledge exchange, and opportunities for joint programs, the conference seeks to accelerate Serbia's integration into the broader space-technology and satellite-industry community.
